Anne-Marie was elected to the Puketapapa Local Board in October 2016. She shares the Community work programme lead role with Shail, with particular responsibility for Seniors, Children and Arts.
Most people probably know me in my role as President of Auckland Greypower.
I have been lobbying Auckland Council on seniors issues for many years and am an effective communicator. I will bring to the board my extensive management experience from business and not-for-profit sectors. I am a hard worker and like to see my projects achieve successful outcomes.
I want to make our communities more liveable and inclusive for people of all ages and backgrounds. I understand rates rises are a burden and will be seeking prudent, collaborative approaches to reduce debt, not selling off assets we will need later. Protecting our environment is critically important and I want to play my part in keeping Auckland green.
The Puketāpapa Local Board has punched above its weight and I want to play my part in keeping that momentum going.
Vote for me and the Roskill Community Voice team.
