David was re-elected to the Puketapapa Local Board in October 2016 and continues to have responsibility for Transport. He now chairs the Infrastructure & Heritage cluster and is also the work programme lead for Environment, as well as the Puketapapa Local Board representative on the Manukau Harbour Forum and the community liaison group for Aircraft Noise.
My first term on the Local Board has equipped me with further knowledge about the needs of local people and about the operations of Auckland Council which I can apply effectively over a second term.
My family has lived in four different houses in Mt Roskill since 1970.
Careers as an economist and teacher have given me skills in analysing and communicating concerns and priorities.
My transport portfolio has had a focus on dealing with congestion by promoting light rail, double decker buses, bus lanes, park and ride and safer walking and cycling routes.
I have stood up for fairer rates; opposing plans to increase the share paid by residents and small businesses while reducing them for big businesses.
I want to see Auckland become a more liveable city for people of all ages and backgrounds.
Please vote David Holm and the Roskill Community Voice team for continued progress for Puketāpapa.
