Ofisa ran in the 2016 election and was unfortunately unsuccessful, we wish him all the best and look forward to working together in other ways.
During my time playing for the All Blacks, Manu Samoa and other professional teams here and overseas, the thing I loved most was visiting schools, community groups or hospitals and providing my time, advice or a smile.
I saw first-hand how role models could influence youth into making positive life choices. This inspired me into a career in community service once my playing days were over, and I’ve been proud to work at Roskill Youth Zone helping our local young people achieve their potential.
I view the opportunity to serve on Puketāpapa Local Board as an extension of my community
work. I will provide a Pasifika voice at the table and ensure that our youth and the wider needs of the community are considered in any board decisions.
Please vote for me and the Roskill Community Voice candidates to ensure that the future for our community is bright and prosperous.
